This is a list of some of the local authorities with which the PFRA has some form of direct operating arrangement.
These arrangements may be very informal (an unwritten understanding to let the council or town centre management know when fundraising may be taking place) or very formal (a negotiated, written agreement about how, when, and where fundraising may take place, specific to the individual location). Any arrangement with the PFRA, however it is structured, is essentially designed to make the public experience of fundraising in their area more professional, enjoyable, and reliable, and enable people to express their generosity freely and confidently.
As soon as possible it is our intention to provide indications of the amounts of money our charity members have had pledged to them from the residents of, and visitors to, each of these authorities. If you would like to know more about the arrangements in place in each of these locations, please ask.
If you have views or concerns about how fundraising is conducted in your area, and your local authority is not listed, please feel free to contact us to find out why. Better still, why not contact them (by clicking through the link given)?
