‘Chugging’ damages charities’ reputations, undermines trust and impacts negatively on income

There is absolutely no empirical evidence to suggest this whatsoever. Street F2F has been done in the UK since the late 1990s and there is no suggestion that it has harmed the income or the reputation of those charities that use it. F2F secures well half a million new regular donations each year. If it were harming the public’s collective charitable goodwill, we would be seeing its effects by now.
