Do you still object to chuggers?

That’s a shame.

There are some common objections to F2F fundraising and we hope that we’ve been able to present some good counter arguments here.

We’re sorry that we’ve not been able to convince you.

We fully realise that, for all sorts of reasons, F2F fundraising does not appeal to many people and some, albeit fewer than you’d think, vehemently object to it.

However, it is practised professionally according to a code of practice, regulated well, and it works. It is a valuable and cost-effective source of new donors who give the money that allows charities to provide services for their beneficiaries.

Some charities absolutely rely on F2F and without it their beneficiaries would suffer.

You might not like being asked to give by a ‘chugger’. But at least 600,000 people a year have no objection at all.
