The PFRA is unique in the fundraising sector in that we are the only organisation that has been established specifically to regulate one type of fundraising and ensure compliance with one code of practice.
We try to do this through:
- Penalty points regime for breaches of PFRA rules
- A self-accreditation process for members
- Mystery shopping
- Complaints process
We are also working on a medium-term project to expand our code compliance regime to encompass a penalties and rewards, points-based system.
