IoF to stage face-to-face conference

29/07/11

For the second year running, the Institute of Fundraising is running a dedicated one-day conference focusing on face-to-face fundraising on 26th September in the City of London.

Topics to be covered include global trends and innovations, planning investment in F2F and managing the medium’s public perception. There will also be case studies on private site and local campaigns, while Macmillan Cancer Support will present a case study on their award-winning nationwide doorstep F2F campaign.

There will be a strong PFRA involvement with the conference, with acting chair Michael Naidu of Mencap stewarding the entire conference and contributions from ceo Mick Aldridge and head of communications Ian MacQuillin. There will also be a further presentation of some of the findings from the 2011 Donor Attrition and Retention Survey (DARS).

Staff working for PFRA member companies can take advantage of a special rate of £175 for the day – the same as for IoF members – discounted from the full price of £225.
