Thank you for visiting the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association (PFRA) site.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people who donate to charity by direct debit or any other means. Charities particularly like direct debit donations as this means they have an idea of how much money they will receive over the next few years and so can plan ahead to fund their projects and good causes. There is a list of PFRA members below with links to some of the charities websites so you can see how your money is spent helping people, animals, and the environment all over the world.

The PFRA also works to ensure that fundraising on the street and door-to-door is of the highest possible standard. All our members follow a code of practice, and the PFRA performs spot checks (sometimes called ‘mystery shopping’) to see this code is adhered to. However, if you are unhappy with the behavior of fundraisers in your area, there is also a link to a complaints form below.
